Do my toddler sons need a rashguard for a 2mm shorty wetsuit?

A rash guard is to guard you from "Board Rash" not wetsuit rash. A wetsuit to fit properly should be like a second skin. There is no way to fit a rash guard in between your body and a properly fitting wet suit.
