Sometimes I just can't talk properly?

Once in a while, I feel like my voice sounds really ugly and I feel like I just slur my words when I speak because my mouth isn't fast enough to keep up with mind. I feel like I also get a very slight lisp. It's so weird because I feel like I sound so weird, but my friends tell me I don't have an accent or lisp.
