I am currently fostering a German Shepherd/Lab mix puppy and I got too attached?

Large dogs can do very well in small places as long as you exercise them, and by that I mean a good walk of a least 30 - 45 minutes every day. I think you'll be fine, good for you for giving the pup a good home!
