Did anybody notice that ROH was attempting to turn Tyler Black into the next CM Punk type heel?

With the whole "I'm taking the ROH belt with me to WWE" deal. If memory serves the great angle that was The Summer of Punk had CM Punk taunt and tease Ring of Honor that he was going to leave as champion and give the belt as a gift to Mr. McMahon. The past few months Tyler Black has turned heel and made subtle hints that he was leaving the promotion and had "offers from major companies wanting his services". Ring of Honor teased a title change at the last PPV where the title defense was Tyler Black vs Davey Richards and everybody was expecting it to happen there but they pulled the greatest SWERVE~and kept the belt on Tyler Black! I was kind of expecting the same for this PPV considering that I do not feel that Rodrick Strong is the person I would want to be the face of the promotion. I was hoping that ROH would continue to progress the evolution of the heel character of Black....the refusal of the handshake was a good way to leave.
