Is the world in another depression?

the ship sank what do you do? cost of living is high, wages are low, the middle cl is gone, and the peasant cl is a higher majority than ever. what job is even worth doing nowadays if any? i've been a good boy my whole life, went to school got a job. But now know that working is a fast way to a dead end since the economy collapsed. What advice is there for the up and coming youth in a collapse economy where there no longer are many opportunities?
