How Do i get my team mate to calm down?

I catch for select softball but my pitcher is VERY impatient . if she doesn't continuously throw strikes she will POP . i try pausing The game and go up to the mound and tell jokes and correct her pitching but it only lasts about two minutes.i really need to find a way to make her concentration last longer.THank you(:
